Dear colleagues

First of all I should thank all the scientists in the field of radiation research from all over the world as well as Iran for supporting IJRR for 13 years with their valuable contributions. IJRR has grown during all these years and found its place in the radiation research community, so that it is now a leading journal in the field of radiation research. As you all are aware, IJRR is an open access journal and is not fully supported financially by government. Open access publishing is not without costs. IJRR authorities have decided to defray some of these costs through article-processing charges because it does not have subscription charges for its research content. We instead believe that immediate, worldwide, barrier-free, open access to the full text of research articles is in the best interests of the scientific community. IJRR therefore levies an article-processing charge of 150 Euro for each original article and 100 Euro for short and case reports, accepted for publication. This decision was not easy to make; however, because of the increasing number of manuscripts received; in which most of them are of high quality and warrant publication, in this way we would be able to handle more manuscripts and publish more articles in each issue of IJRR. However, article-processing charge waivers or discounts are granted on a case-by-case basis to authors with insufficient funds. Authors can request a waiver or discount during the submission process. An invoice for article processing charge will be sent to the corresponding author upon acceptance of the manuscript. The manuscript processing charges would be implemented for all articles submitted from the first of January 2016.
I thank you all for your continuous support and we hope to bring IJRR to the level that meet your satisfaction.

Best Regards
