Patients were divided into 3DCRT group and HT group with distinct therapy modality. The clinical efficacy, appetite changes and adverse reactions of the 2 groups were observed, and quality of life scale (SF-36) scores and 1-, 2- and 3-year survival ratios of the 2 groups at pre-therapy and post-therapy were compared. </span></span></span><span lang="en-US" style="font-size:9.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri"><span style="color:#1f497d"><span style="font-style:italic"><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="language:en-US">Results: </span></span></span></span></span></span><span lang="en-US" style="font-size:9.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri"><span style="language:en-US">the HT group exhibited a markedly superior objective remission rate (ORR) compared to the 3DCRT group (P<0.05), but the difference between the disease control rate (DCR) of the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05). </span></span></span><span lang="en-US" style="font-size:9.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri"><span style="color:#1f497d"><span style="font-style:italic"><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="language:en-US">Conclusion: </span></span></span></span></span></span><span lang="en-US" style="font-size:9.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri"><span style="language:en-US">HT radiotherapy for patients with locally advanced NPC shows precise advantages, which can effectively improve the clinical therapeutic effect of the patients.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></div> Tomotherapy, radiotherapy, nasopharyngeal neoplasms, patient outcome, quality of life. 387 395 http://ijrr.com/browse.php?a_code=A-10-1-1341&slc_lang=en&sid=1 Y.
